6ES7531-7KF00-0AB1 configuration error "low limit violated"

ria maria_mathew33 Joined: 6/18/2025 Last visit: 6/18/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	This question is regarding configuring PT00 for 6ES7531-7KF00-0AB0. I have connected a 4-wire PT100, 2 wires at pin 3 and 4 and the other 2 wires at pin 7 and 8, according to the module's wiring manual. I have set channel 0 to thermal resistance (4 wire) and standard ranges. All other channels are deactivated. The underflow diagnostics, when enabled, is producing a "low limit violated" error. I have rechecked the sensor wiring and configuration. Is there any error that anyone could point out to, so as to solve the issue? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from 6ES7531-7KF00-0AB1 PT100 TIA Portal channel configuration .

It's important that you connect the one site of the PT 100 with the Pin's 2 and 7 and the other site of the PT 100 with the Pins 3 and 8. Your error sounds like a incorrect wiring. Do you connect the module with 24 V DC power supply? You must also parameterize the module for your PT100 with thermal resistor RTD and not only resistor. Please check the parameter o Do you have any more diagnostic messages? Please check also the PT100 maybe is this one also defect. regards CaOd
