Alarm text cut off (Wincc Unified V19, Upd3)

LuchianR Member Joined: 7/11/2022 Last visit: 8/27/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello guys, I have the following issue: I'm using a basic MTP700 panel and I got a problem regarding the alarm text and also with other columns. Basically, the text is cut off at the beginning. If I simulate the HMI, it looks fine. When I download the software on the physical HMI, the issue appears. In TIA, I have version 19.0.0.2 configured and on the HMI is 19.0.0.3. I can't configure 19.0.0.3 in TIA, I don't find this version. And yes, I tried to use version 19.0.0.2 on HMI and it works worse, it's laggy. Attachment WhatsApp Image 2025-01-09 at 15.13.14.jpeg (232 Downloads)

I haven't encountered this situation but I recommend you check the settings of the image window, and do different tests to see if it improves anything. I am mainly writing to tell you that usually, new image versions are usually mapped to the TIA Portal if they also entail changes relevant to the project planning. However, some image versions only contain improvements and/or fixes to the Runtime itself and do not require extended project planning or specific translation compared to the previous version, as for example, this up. 3 of V19.

For example..if I modify the settings to position the alarm text on right side and I download the software on HMI, nothings changes. But in simulation, you can see the change.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/9/2025 Posts: 16368 Rating: (1932)	Hello LuchianR you can try to reset the runtime files with this and load again to the Panel: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109778709 (I think this will not make it better, but its worth a try) It is normal that you can only select V19.0.0.2 in TIA Portal (there is no newer Device Version available). The newest OS Image for the Panel in V19 is V19.0.0.3 so it is correct if you have installed this on the Panel. (you can also use newer OS IMage versions, in case of WinCC Unified this is possible ((in Comfort/Advanced this was not possible )) Try also with a new Alarm Control does it have the same bugs? If yes then you can also open a Service Request at Siemens Support to check if this is some kind of setting you can adjust or if its a bug Bye Murof
