Hi

I have a Baumer absolute encoder and want to use it in a Siemens Project.

The CPU is S7-315 with DP interface and the encoder is GXMMW.A203V32.

it is written on the encoder that the interface is profibus DPV2 V1.05. But I Can't find the GSD file for it. the only thing I found on the net is GXMM09F6.gsd ( two files ) but when I use it in the project I see that this is DPV0 and the other one is DPV1. when I open the GSD file ( GXMM09F6.gsd ) I see that the software version is V1.01.

Can any body help me?

you made me check the manual again and I noticed some thing in the "4.2 Encoder bus implementation" . 

<<< Use the mouse again to drag encoder module „telegram 81“ from the right out of the hardware catalogue to plug-in position 1 of the module window at left below in the hardware window. Do not utilize the universal module, this is not considered. >>>

I used to set every thing in universal mode by my mind's default.

I will check and give the feed back here.
