I have a CPU 1512SP F-1 PN + CP 1542SP.

We use the CPU as a PROFINET controller for some drives and a RIO. As well as some MODBUS TCP devices.

The CP is used for MODBUS TCP connection to SCADA.

Now my client wants to add a second CP for another dedicated interface for a OPC UA server. I seem to recall that this was not possible through a CP. in a ET200SP based CPU, am I correct?

Is it correct that we would need to use a full size 1500 series CPU with a CP 1543-1, and forward data. AS described in chapter 10.1 of this document?

If so, would this satisfy the demand of separated networks?
