Thanks for the quick reply. The issue I'm facing is that I want to create an analog alarm on my HMI for an oil tank fill level. Ideally there will be an alarm when the tank level gets close to empty. Normally with HMI alarms you can create an analog alarm to achieve this i.e. link the tag that gives the live level value (0-100) and then set a limit of, say 10, in the 'Limit' column that would alert the operator when the fill level drops to 10. This would be fine. However, the customer has requested the ability to be able to change what this limit value is from the HMI.

In some videos I saw online (linked below), the 'Limit' column of the AnalogAlarms tab in HMI alarms has the option to change whether you enter a constant as the limit or instead link it to a tag. This would be ideal for me as I could then link the operator's tank low level limit on the HMI to this alarm so the limit can change at the operator's discretion. However, this feature doesn't appear to be available to me and I'm wondering if it is a setting I haven't turned on, I've done something wrong, or if this feature is just no longer available? The only difference I've noticed from the videos I saw is that they were using TP series HMIs whereas I'm using an MTP1200. I note that in the video you linked from DerHecht (he has really useful vids btw, have watched his stuff before), he also has no ability to change whether the limit is a constant or a variable.
