CUVC not work wiht Control Mode4n

saathiksyed Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, I am trying to replacing CU2 with CUVC in SIMOVERT VC. I set all parameters in CUVC related to CU2, In CUVC parameter P100 is 4n(Speed Control).when I give start command drive goes to run mode, but motor not running,outputfrequency of driveis zero, when I increase reference setpoint drive goes to fault F015. When I change paramet P100 is 3f(Frequency Control), drive is working normal. I checked my econder connection is good, when I put back CU2, drive is working normal in 4n(speed control) soI have no doubt about encoder.Can anybody advice me solve this problem

Can you please post a copy of the CUVC parameters (And the CU2 if you were able to save them) It sounds like an encoder problem, can you please check the following: The connections for the encoder: CU2,X103 CUVC, X103 35 23 36 24 37 25 38 26 39 27 40 28 Check what P130 is set to i.e. 11, 12, 15, or 16 If you can freely (and safely) spin the motor shaft, please check r002 (Freq) or r015 (RPM) and you should see some reaction to your manual motor movements. I think this is because you are inputting a calculated reference torque (K81 into P493) into the torque limits, creating a loop which will never be more than zero. Same for K83 into P499 You can replace P493 with K170 (which you have set to 120%) and also P499 = K171. Obviously, please observe caution when changing torque limits. Also, check that a positive setpoint gives a clockwise rotation on both the CU2 and the CUVC.
