Hello everyone! I am configuring a project which utilises distributed IO for the first time, and have come up against an address space error that I have not had before. I am hoping someone here can confirm my thinking is correct. The project has been designed to utilise a number of the IM 155-6 PN BA (6ES7 155-6AR00-0AN0) interface modules. Reading the datasheet for this interface controller, it states it supports up to 32 byte; per input/output Datasheet (Page 30). The datasheet for an 8 channel analogue input module (6ES7 134-6GF00-0AA1) states that is uses 16 bytes per module Datasheet (Page 24). Does this then mean that the interface module at maximum will only support 2 Analogue input modules? I am getting error:
for the PLC config as attached. Is this due to the above? or am I barking up the wrong tree? Additionally, if this is so, are there interface modules that support higher data amounts? or do I have to add a second rack and second interface module? Any advice appreciated, and have a great day! aleech-chem |

Hi, there are other interface modules like already stated. An overview can be found here: What are the differences between the Basic (BA), Standard (ST), High Feature (HF) and High Speed (HS) modules of the ET 200SP and ET 200MP?-> PDF -> "Properties of the function classes of the interface modules of ET 200SP" regards sancruz |
