Currently, the number of requests is above average, which leads to the currently longer times for the check. We apologize for this.

Please, keep in mind: after two years you will receive an E-mail asking whether the authorization should be extended. If you do not confirm this, the check must be carried out again.

To me this could be a dangerous approach, people then search the web for the upgrades and they could be hosted elsewhere with modified malicious content. Just a thought.

It is a bit disappointing though, here is a new version 8.3, we have a new Cloud range, you can buy them however we won't let you access the software upgrade to programme them until we say so.

To me this could be a dangerous approach, people then search the web for the upgrades and they could be hosted elsewhere with modified malicious content. Just a thought.

I understand your disappointment - but you have to see it from the other side: if the software is accessible for everyone than there could be bad consequences, too. It is not for nothing that there are laws that require export approval:

Spend hours and hours figuring out why my new LOGO's didn't connect. Found out that there is an update (8.3) needed... Maybe a small "Hardware not compatible with software notice" would be nice!

And now I have to wait for approval before I can download the new software... Me, and especially my customers are a bit... Well... Not amused...

What is the avarage time to approval? So I can inform my customers when their machines can operate.
