Hello David; Have a look at the 2 models of Reserve modules for thew ET 200S, as described in the documents below: Spacekeeping Modules for the ET 200S Distributed I/O System Now Available RESERVE module (6ES7138-4AAx1-0AA0) Siemens suggests that you use them when you already know what electronic module you will eventually use in the reserved space, that way you do not have to erebuild the gsd file for the ET 200S.
