Good evening, I don't want to start a new topic so I'll put my problem description here: Via Tia V18 or by the memory card I received the same message: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Look in the Diagnostics, especially the Diagnostics -> Diagnostics buffer as shown in your "Online access" working pane in the uploaded image. Find out what is wrong with the PLC first. Then power cycle the PLC. Once the PLC is in a happy state, try the Online access firmware update again. It is possible your downloaded firmware is named correctly, but not downloaded correctly. Let's say your mouse was shaking a little the day the file was downloaded, and the name was forced to be the expected filename rather than accepting what it was trying to call itself. I've accidentally done the same thing myself which is why I suggest it as a possible cause.
