Flow meter selection

Cesar Cazal Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Could I use an electromagnetic flow meter to measure de diesel flow at a temperature of 50°C with a 3/4" pipe without fire risk and mantainig an error of 0.5%? Which one would be the better selection en that case and with which coating kind? Thank you very much

Fl0w Regular Member Joined: 12/11/2012 Last visit: 3/12/2025 Posts: 35 Rating: (10)	You can't measure Diesel with a magnetic inductive sensor. Diesel has a too low electrical conductivity. You could use an Ultrasonic or Coriolis Sensor instead.
