There are consequences when someone ignores the European export rules to help you. The restrictions are there for a reason -- even if the politics behind it has nothing directly to do with us. Personally I won't take that chance. Let me attempt to help you in another way. Why do you require the old firmware? Are you aware that you can use an S7-1200 PLC with firmware V4.x but have it assigned in the project as firmware V4.0? The S7-1200 is built to be able to handle this situation as a drop in replacement: new hardware but same program = work as if older firmware. TIA Portal compiler does give a warning .. note it is not a breaking error.
