How I can restart the communication? (A083 error) CPU 414-2DP, CP443

Dear All, Our system is more simple, so we had CPU 414-2DP and 3 CP443 (6ES7 443-1EX20-0XE0) , one of them work with MODBUSCP as master , just 2 software computer client was connected . all system work well during 2 years withou problem. 2 days ago the FB108 (called FB523 by us)show A083 error and the status is Busy and Error , we discovered the reason one software client is wrong , we fixed it but the status still is A083, busy and error . another client still work finewith their FB108 (called FB521 by us) . today I stopped and run the CP 443 and the problem still happened , the message A083 and busy and error didnt disapear . Hi, which version of MODBUSCP do you have? Did you execute aCPUrestart before the error occured? Wüstenräuber |

Hi I looking for the version.. I dindt restart de Cpu , just the CP.. I hope to find other way to recover the communication vefore restart the Cpu. Wladimir

The version of Modbuscp is 2.0 I hope find other option to recover the communication before restart the Cpu Wm

This is an older version of the modbus block. The best way is to restart the CPU. But I recommend to use the newest version. You can download it here: www.siemens.com/s7modbus, tab "Downloads". The license is valid futhermore. Wüstenräuber |
