Robin Dierick Posts: 24 Rating: (1)	Dear, I've bought and installed the industry library to integrate comfort panel TP1200 in my PCS7 plant. I use the manual: "Integration of Comfort Panels in SIMATIC PCS 7 via the Industry Library" (link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/50708061) In the example they use the CPU 410-5H, like I do, but if I try to initialize the proxy device, I receive this error: No supported CPU or defined device proxy data found in the selected project. (see the attached file). I did the same but now with CPU 417-4, and it worked... In the hardware catalog the CPU 417-4 is available , but the 410-5h isn't... I've installed the newest version of TIA portal (WinCC Professional V13 Sp1 Upd6). How can I initlialize the proxy device with the 410-5h, like they did in the manual? Which support package of Tia Portal does I have to install? Attachment error_CPU.JPG (233 Downloads)

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 9/15/2025 Posts: 22687 Rating: (3071)	Hello, have you only installed TIA SW on the systen on which you use the device Proxy or also the Classic SW like Step7 V5.5? Can you try to copy the project to a local folder and init the proxy whit the local project. From the message it looks that the project is stored on a networkshare. Regards Christoph

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 9/15/2025 Posts: 22687 Rating: (3071)	Hello, yes the S7-400 H are not in the TIA HW Catalog bcause the S7400H not supported in tia , this is why you need the device Proxy. I have checked it here with a clean project (only CPU 410-5H created in HWConfig). Here it works perfectly to initialize the Proxy. On the second system i have not installed the HUP for the PLC410-5 H, and here i get the same issue like you described, the PLC can't be used for the initialisation of the proxy. So let me ask again: Which other SW you have installed on the System? I think you need the PCS7 8.1 with the PLC 410-5H Package to get the proxy working. Regards Christoph

Robin Dierick Posts: 24 Rating: (1)	I think I get the problem than. Because the Tia Portal is not installed on the same computer as the PCS7 is running. I copied the PCS7 project to the computer where the TIA portal is on. So I have to install Tia portal on the ES of my PCS7 installation?
