I want to purchase IoT2040 in the next weeks and I have some questions before :

1) in order to be able to connect to hardwired devices, I plan to insert an IO terminal shield

    Now my question is, if I insert a shield, I might not be able to close the housing for IoT2040. 

    When ordering the IoT2040, is it possible to have a cover which provides already 

    an opening for adding a shields and fixing incoming / outgoing cables  

2) IoT2040 has included a RTC. Will a library be delivered to install the SW for RTC & do I 

     get examples for this application. 

3) do you have any suggestion for a power supply (?W). I want to use 15V.

1) I would like to use arduino software.

As far as I can understand, this SW will be initially present with the HW.

2) On the arduino reference page (https://www.arduino.cc/en/Reference/HomePage) I could 

not find a date / time function. 

Do you have any suggestions or examples how to set / read the date / time?

3) For the Input / output shield I intend to use VMA05.

Do there any other Terminal Blocks exist, which can be connected to Iot2040 via USB cable or

via seperate ribbon cables (connecting to X10 X11 X12 on Iot2040).

This would eliminate my question for an open cover on the IoT2040

you might find a solution here. It still is written in German, but I'm sure an English version will follow soon.

It's an IO shield for the IOT2020/2040 including a fitting cover. It consists of 5 DI, 2 DO and 2 AI
