Is COM Profibus V5.1 support CP5512?

ralphtang Posts: 33 Rating: (1)	I have a problem when trying to Import(Upload) current profibus configuration from an IM308 card the COM Profibus V5.1 always said my communication setting is wrong when I try set PG/PC there is no my commnication adpater (CP5512) on the selection list is the COM Profibus V5.1 does not support CP5512? what kind ofcommnication adpater can i use

Hotfix no. 3 for Com Profibus allows the use of diagnostic functions over the CP 5512. So I guess it should ensure your connection to the PCMCIA card... http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19293900 If this doesn't fix your problem, come back with all related messages (screenshots will be very helpful). ralphtang Posts: 33 Rating: (1)	Thank you dchartier. After Install COMPROFIBUS V5.1 HF3, CP5512 is shows on the select list. looks it slove the problem I haven't get connectig with IM308C and will let you know the result when I done.
