Hi friends

In my project I must control level of a tank by 8 motor pumps that 5 pumps is working pumps, 2 pump is standby and 1 pump is spare.

5 pumps should be switched on according to the height of the water. The starting pump should be moved at each turn according to the operating hours. If one or two pumps fail, the standby pumps should work instead.

The operator must determine which pump to operate, standby or reserve before starting.

This project must be designed using PCS7 version 9 and preferably with CFC

Please suggest a suitable solution or algorithm.

It is bit difficult to give you the project program solution over here.

You have to use either MotL or MotS block with Channel drivers in CFC to control the field motor pumps.

Those mentioned blocks are available in APLibrary.

It sounds like you should take a look at the Aggr08/16 function provided with Industry Library:

The block is used to switch up to 8/16 units based on the runtime or master unit criteria

With this block you can start multiple pumps, order based on operating hours.
Including if a pump is ready to start or not.

I check this function, but where is not in pcs7 v9!!!

The Industry Library for PCS 7 represents an extension of the PCS 7 Advanced Process Library block library. Since interdependencies exist between the blocks of the IL and the APL, the blocks of the two libraries have to be copied into one library for the IL to be used. To ensure conformity with PCS 7, it is advisable to use the master data library of the PCS 7 multiproject.

IL has to be installed on your PC separately.
