Although it's already 11 years...Just want to ask if you found the Easycomm and still had it? I've got  some really old SED2 need to backup and been desperate to find the correct software.

you are right! it can't be programed by starter...

but i found the right software

Easycomm is the software for the SED2 Drives...very similar to Drivemonitor...

I love it when people follow through and find the solution, I will have to find Easycomm and download, as I did not know that.

I don't know Easycomm, but I've used always Starter for setup SED2 or backup&restore.

The program can be taken from your local Siemens representative.
