Quick back story, we bought a machine from a factory and when we picked it up we realised that half the motor modules and the spindle was missing so i have had to buy new ones but because the spindle and other axis (A,C) are slightly different i had to buy different modules. So im trying to configure my new motor modules into the control but it dosent seem to be working, as seen in the photo my `Z1/Z2, A1/C1, ``Cambio´´, Motor´ modules are new. Setup→Drive system→Drive device→configuration→change. But when i do that it dosent seem to change Attachment Servos.jpg (565 Downloads)

PISCEAN 2010 Diamond Expert Joined: 4/23/2010 Last visit: 11/23/2024 Posts: 8092 Rating: (882)	Hello, Please refer SINUMERIK 840D sl Commissioning CNC: NC, PLC, Drive manual. 1. Refer chapter 6.3 Accordingly connect ALM & motor modules correctly. Connect Drive CLiQ cables properly. Go on line with STARTER & check the address. 2. Refer chapter 5 PLC Commissioning - accordingly modify PLC hard ware project as per devices connected, configure hardware address correctly & download PLC program. Check the hardware address alloted in PLC project & Sinamics drives matches or else fault/alarm message would triggered. 3. Please check max axes numbers to be configured to NCU & NX module, I guess max 6 for NCU & 6 nos NX module. 4. Refer chapter 6.4 Automatic device configuration with which you can configure Sinamics drives. Hope this helps. P. S. - Please note, to do so, all devices must be in working condition i.e. without any hardware fault..

I will however post my results here Quick update apparently the configuration that i have might not be compatible. These are the modules i have installed..... ORIGINAL NEW NCU730.3PN→NX15.3→ 6sl3120-2TE21-BAA3 → 6sl3120-2TE21-BAA3→ 6sl3120-2TE21-BAA3→6SL3230-6TE25-5AA3→6SL3120-2TE21-8AC0→6SL3120-2TE15-0AD0→6SL3120-1TE21-0AD0→6SL3120-1TE24-5AC0
