I have found some examples: Distributed Automation with the PC - The SIMATIC NET OPC Server as PROFIBUS DP Slave (Note: This example is written in C++, but uses the OPC server as a PROFIBUS DP Slave. But the handling of the OPC server itself in C++ is nearly the same - it's more a question of the STEP 7 configuration.) Controlling with the PC - The SIMATIC NET OPC Inproc Server as DP Master (This example is also written in C++) Individual Visualization with OPC based on Microsoft® .NET and the Programming Language C# (Note: This example is written in C#, but uses communication via Industrial ethernet.)
