Hi,

We have migrated  PCS7 8.0 sp1 to Pcs79.0 Sp2. All think is all right and working fine (AS & OS).

But when we generate module driver it shows error. I have attached the error in attachment.

Will you please any suggestion?

This error can come due to multiple reasons. Make sure the following aspects of your setup/project are fine:

• Necessary libraries are installed.
• If you are maintaining a master data library in your project, check the blocks folder in the library and also check the blocks folder of your project for the library family. I presume your blocks folder has PcsAnIn block from AdvLib80 and not from AdvLib90 (which is the APL library version installed as a part of your 9.0 SP2 upgrade).

If the second point of my understanding holds true, you need to do one of the two things as a part of your migration activity:

• Update all the blocks in your folder to AdvLib90 by selecting Pcs7AnIn in the block folder -> Select Options -> Charts -> Update Block Types. Note of caution: The block will be upgraded to the latest version (AdvLib90 family).

If you do not wish to migrate the blocks to the newer version, refer this manual (LINK) which states that 'additional libraries' (the older version) library also needs to be installed in your engineering station. 

Please exhibit caution and proceed with the migration of libraries purely keeping in mind of your requirements.
