Differences betven configured and target modules (online) The existing online module "6ES7 SIM-01500-APLC" is not compatible with the module configured offline "6ES7512-1DK01-0AB0". Loading to the target system is not possible. The existing online module "R28.31" is not compatible with the module configured offline "V2.8". Loading to the target system is not possible. And start the simulation without this module. When modules are not compatible, the communication can not be started. 'R28.31.8' is a firmware verison, therefore it cant be deleted. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance, Izabella

Mexap Regular Member Joined: 1/2/2018 Last visit: 6/16/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (1)	It's little bit late for the answer, but maybe someone else will have the same problem. Probably the PLC type is wrongly selected in PLCSim. Instead of CPU1500 should be ET200SP.

If you perform a PLCsim reinstall, verify PLCsim works before installing update 1 again. Then try again after the update. If Update 1 breaks the simulation, forward your project archive to Siemens Support using Support Request -> Create new request. Once it is working again, please post back the working solution.
