Hello eemi; Both PCS 7 and SPPA-T3000 are DCS systems provided by Siemens, but offered by different divisions. Some of the hardware might be similar (Profibus-DP distributed I/Os for example) but the systems are incompatible. SPPA-Tx000 is part of the Energy division and it is oriented towards enegy generation (power plants) http://www.energy.siemens.com/hq/en/automation/power-generation/sppa-t3000.htm PCS 7 is a S7-400/WinCC based system developped for discrete and continuous process control, by the I&A division (Industry and Automation): |
