Problem regarding Panel Depth.

Ashutosh Kr Bronze Member Joined: 3/15/2011 Last visit: 4/23/2025 Posts: 134 Rating: (9)	Dear all we have a sinamics S-120 Drive Having Dimension( 326 X 1400 X 356 ) W X H X D( in mm) .The power rating of the Drive is 132 kw MLFB No 6SL3310-1TE32-6AA3 & frame size is FX.I wanted to ask wheathet I can fit the dirve in panel size of (1500 X 2000 X 400) W X H X D (in mm) the Drive will be operating continusly 2 Hrs per day with maximum operation time of 4-5 Hrs per day. there is no rear opening in the panel.We will be using exhaust fan . Is this this design possible ? Will Heat be a problem in this case ? will drive trip under these circumstances ? Can you provide me a document for calculating cooling air reqiurement ? Please help..

in212576 Posts: 56 Rating: (7)	Dear Ashutosh, As per the drive rating & panel which you using for the drive, in my experience drive will not be create any problem unless and until you provide sufficient cooling air as per the drive rating requirement.Suction and delivery area should be free from the blockages.
