READ REAL VALUE FROM DB

Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (323)	Hello ENG.ABDUL, the Modbus protocol defines registers (words) and coils (bits). It doesn't define any data interpretation regarding character, interger or real. The interpretation of the data should take place in the application layer. It is possible to transfer a real value in two registers, if both communication partners interpret it the same way. AMYA Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	HiENG.ABDUL I had the same problem, it seems you need to change the words (register) order. when the analog valuse mapped to MODBUS registers in some systems MSB and LSB are exchanged and this can lead to confusion.
