I'm here today to ask for help solving this problem:

I have a project with a 1516F PLC and a MTP1500 Unified comfort panel. Up until now I used only english as the project language, but now I want to add german and turkish.

So I added them on the "Project languages" and linked them to their display/web server counterpart on the PLC multilingual support configuration. Then I went to enable them on the HMI runtime settings but found that they could not be enabled, the button is greyed out, also the english button has a red background.

When compiled, the project only returns a warning saying that the language configuration is different between PLC and HMI.

Do you have any ideas what I could try?

I'm using TIA V17.

I tried switching from turkish to italian, I don't really care which language is it because it will just be a "marker" for arabic texts.

After I changed the software I rebuilt both hardware and software of PLC and HMI, but the problem persists.

This is the warning I receive. Only when compiling HMI software.

I have found the cause for my problem; the languages fixed font is "Siemens Sans", which I did not have installed on my PC.

It did not cause errors for some reason, but now that I have installed it, evertything is ok.

How did you install the Siemens Sans font?
