S7-communication

MelsecMan Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I am trying to set up a communication between two 315F CPU's. I use 'S7-communication', integrated ethernet interface, and FB12/13 BSEND/BRCV. The link indicates green and 'Set up', but there is no data transfer, and no error messagen from the FB12/13. I the manuals I can read that this is possible with a 315 CPU, but is it possible with a 315F CPU?

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 9/14/2025 Posts: 3049 Rating: (1062)	Hello MelsecMan I can't tell why your commms don't work, but can tell you that FB12 and 13 (BSEND & BRCV) will work with the PN port of your 315F CPU. Perhaps the link below will help, but if it doesn't please upload your S7 project here for evaluation and further advise: How do you program communication blocks FB12 "BSEND" and FB13 "BRCV" for data exchange on the S7-300? I hope this helps

What STATUS do you get? You mention you get an error but how is the satus when you receive your error? (by the way, just collect the STATUS as the error is 1... all other STAUTS informations are irrelevant) Sorry for asking all these questions. Best regards J_Bell
