Dear Altuner, Perhaps this link might help: What options are there for connecting an external antenna to the devices of the SCALANCE W700 product range? Best regards, Wizard |

Hello Altuner I'm a bit puzzled by your question, but will try to at least explain what arial connection belongs to which WLAN interface. You must firstly decide in the setup of your W788-2 which wireless interface (WLAN1 and WLAN 2) operates in what wireless mode (e.g. WLAN 1 in 2.4 GHz 802.11g and WLAN2 in5 GHz 802.11a). Thereafter you connect the arials accordingly with the following assignment: WLAN1: A1/B1 (2.4 GHz arial in the above example) WLAN2: A2/B2 (5 GHz arial in the above example) Attached is a picture which hopefully says more than a thousands words. Last but not least: In case you are only using one arial per WLAN interface (your picture hints at this), you should (read: must) connect a terminating resistor to the other arial port and configure the "Antenna mode" correspondingly in the setup of your W788-2 (you'll find the "Antenna mode" config in the "Advanced"submenu of each WLAN Interface menu) I hope this helps |
