Setting dynamic time range in Report layout

I'm using WinCC V6.2. In Report Designer I put an Online Table control. I assign some tags to it. I want to dynamically define the "BeginTime" and "EndTime" properties of all tags in the Online Table control. I defined some Internal Tag of "Text" typeto store these string values. I'd like to know how to format that date/time strings. In the online help I found that I should use the "dd.mm.yyyy hh:mm:ss" format, but it doesn't seem to work. The resulting output shows <NO DATA> in the Table. As a comparison, in the previous WinCC V6.0 Online Table object, I used to set "YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss" format for that parameters (and it was ok!), but here that format lead to the same result (NO DATA). How should I configure the Online Table control? Which is the correct format for the "BeginTime" and "EndTime" properties? Thank you in advance for support.

S.S.D.D. Posts: 67 Rating: (0)	Marco, I know this is a while after your post, but one way is to use a VB script to assign the date and time to your internal tag. The type of tag you want to use is a text tag 16-bit. I know there is an example for this on the Siemens website (Osmosis Project) but I don't have a link right now.

Biagio Posts: 31 Rating: (1)	Good evening, I have the same problem. I use WinCC 6.2 and a VB script to configure two internal tags with begin/end time in the requested format. Whenthe report page is opened the begin/end time are different from requested. The update option is disabled. Thanks

According tothe help-manuals of Siemens the format has to be dd.mm.yyyy hh:mm:ss But this doesn't work . The formatmust be dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss Please correct the manuals and help-files Siemens!!! There are a lot of topics about this problem. The tag string can bea 8 character set type.

As per advice I have assigned string tags for begin time and end time in dynamic parameter, But it still not taking effect. The report is generating as per time range in table properties. You need to set "Start to end time", not "Time range". And in the connected string-tags for Begin-Time and End-Time the string need to have the same format as in the Table-OCX (classis) in Graphics-Editor. Regards Georg Berghof

I generated report but it logging column value for 1 minute, beside I set this time range in string for 3 minutes in format of hh:mm:ss:ms e.g. Begin time string= 15:40:00:00 Begin time string= 15:43:00:00 Attachment online table Ctrl Prop.png (573 Downloads)

AmolK Posts: 50 Rating: (0)	Thanks for reply Georg As per suggestion I changed time stamp to "Date Time" e.g. Begin time string= 04/12/2015 15:40:00.000 End time string= 04/12/2015 15:43:00.000 But still it giving me same report of log for 1 minute. Now its real trouble for me because have done all settings as per suggestions, I tried all possible combinations of setting but still no result. Now reviewing again. Please advice if any other than previous. Please find report print which I am getting right now. Attachment ccc.pdf (457 Downloads)
