Hi 

We have a  SINAMICS S120 DOUBLE MOTOR MODULE (6SL3120-2TE21-8AA3), when the cnc machine is switched on it comes up with the following alarm " Power unit: Overload I2t 16384 alarm".

Even with the motors disconnected we get this Alarm.

BTW is it running old machine or new under commissioning?

If it is old machine. check value in r036 & fault value in r0949. This is calcualted basec on I2T formula, so check the current drawn by motor, also check motor, motor power connector any loose connection etc. etc. Check power module value in r207 & compare with r036.

If it is new machine under commissioning, check drive commissioning & motor identification.
