so, this is actually not such a easy thing to do with the latest software, because the latest Software is not released for W9X anymore. What you will need to have is the version, as you can see here:

CD 5/2000 of SIMATIC Net. Even there is thePGfunctionfor the CP 1613 not released for W9X because the CP only works well with NT, W2K andXP.

WhatI would recommend is to replace the CP with a NDIS Ethernet Adaptor and SOFTNET IE PG. But, as said, it will be very hard to get such a old version of SIMATIC NET.
