It's not working for me as well. I'm using TIA Portal V13SP1. I've created an FC (not a DB) and I wanto to use a TON Timer, using a tag, declared in a GLOBAL DB, in SCL, and it doesn't work. I don't know why the same instruction in an FC ladder works, but not in SCL.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, Try to declare your instance tag as InOut tag in your FC. Regards |

How? I tried to declare an Input Output tag as IEC_TIMER, but this type of tag is not supported... |

What doesn't work, can you be more specific and please post a snapshot of your TON declaration. Are all TON parameters assigned to tags?

Hi. I have not yet had a reason to do this.. so I tried it. The instruction normally look like.. From a non-timer DB it would be like.. The other option via the INOUT is with the variable defined as TON_TIME type, and not IEC_TIMER. It can be defined as an INOUT and will compile for the declaration. Next I tried changing myTimer from IEC_TIMER to TON_TIME The last try was with the instructions.. w |
