Can't transfer project from PG to OP77B (direct link)

Rosegarden Posts: 63 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm trying to load a project from WinCC Flexible 2008 toan OP77B via a direct link (standard MPI/DP cable).When Ibring the OP panel intotransfer mode (manually)Flex starts to compile the project and tries to tranfer the project into the OP.When this starts there isnotextual message on the OP, nor does the transfer goes well. After a few seconds the transfer stops but the project isn't tranfered to the OP panel. Please see the attachement for the configuration of the OP connection. Does anybody have tips? The setup is a standard 315-2DP PLC with an OP77B panel directly link to thte PG via a MPI/DP interface cable. regards Attachment Connection.jpg (233 Downloads)

Rosegarden Posts: 63 Rating: (0)	Hello Umencho, thanx for the tips and link, the document only goed about the routing not about a direct link between PG and OP77B. I've looked more closely and I guess there has to be a MPI connection defined in the PG. Please see the attachment. The red circled parts are assignments I added, I will test it later today. Regards. Jehanzaib Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	There is a communication problem in transferring the project through MPI cable in OP77B.I also tried alot but unable to transfer through MPI in OP77B. So finally i was successful in transferring the project in OP77B by using RS232 port through serial cable.So use RS232 port in transferring the project in OP77B. Regards Jehanzaib Butt
