I'm having a big issue: out of nowhere, my IOT2050 has become super laggy. By free -h I was able to see that the RAM was getting filled very fast; using top I've found out ClamAV is the process filling out the RAM. Has anyone had this kind of issue?

I suspect it came preinstalled via IndustrialOS.

But I would be very careful using such tools in production without carefully assessing the pros and cons. It's easy to shoot yourself into the foot when not frequently updating such an exposed component as well - provided it is actually exposed to random untrusted data (otherwise it does not add much value in the first place).

Also, you need to check that the setup will not blindly sacrifice Availability for the sake of Confidentiality and/or Integrity, e.g. by quarantining essential files because of false positives. What is essential obviously depends on the use case.

Yes, it's indeed pre-installed in the Industrial OS image (see attachment).

I hope this bug can be sorted out, considering I just upgraded the system via sudo apt-get upgrade. Which option should I select for clamd.conf when prompted?
