IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	hi guys, does anybody know how to find out the actual number of an I/O field or touchbutton that is focused? I like to get this number via script, so that I can jump to the same field when the screen is opened again. TAB- sequence is not a good solution for me. "HmiRuntime.ActiveScreen.ActiveScreenItem....." I find NO referenze for the Object Number, just for Object Name. Is it possible to read our the number as well? Thx! Jürgen

el-mare Posts: 19 Rating: (3)	Hi Juergen, so, this idea comes into my mind: 1) Use Area Pointer for communicating active screen object (4th word) from HMI to PLC 2) Let the PLC keep track of the latest active screen object for each screen; Since information in areapointer changes steadily as HMI is operated, PLC needs to copy data and store for each screen which screenobjectis active. 3) HMI Script accesses information stored in PLC via tag anduses systemfunction "ActivateScreen (Screen name, Object number)". If then a screen is activated again the same screen objectreceives the focus that was active before the screen has beenleft. hope this helps

It will not work without a connection to PLC. I need a solution that will work also without PLC connection. My Solution: All Inputfields get aspecific Name. Use script to convert name-text to integer (CINT) Voila...

fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings Another idea: make an internal string tag for each screen (or array) on clearing of the screen save the current active field name on loading screen activate the field with saved name I don't have WinCC flexible right now, so I can't test it... Best regards
