Dear PISCEAN 2010, I have a some experiance with braking systems, my first question is: this problem is new? or it comes with the machine as a factory defect/design problem? If the problem is newly apeared, check if your drive has voltage output when power cut-off or trip; i had some experiance with old drives when power off the stored voltage on the capacitors drives the motor for a short period of time; you can check this problem by adding contactor on the drive output to disconnect during power cut-off. If the problem is design problem, i suggest you to use mechanical clutch break with break resistor. Additionally If you use gearbox you will get much better result but it costs you space, low speed, power efficiency ... Regards, |
