Help me to sole WinCC Flexible fault

Wishme Experienced Member Joined: 8/20/2009 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 80 Rating: (5)	Dear Sie-enauto, Ifu have WinCC explorer installed in your PG prior to installing WinCC Flex 2008, you have to uninstall SQL Server of WinCC Explorer and WinCC Flex 2008 (which u have recently installed) from ur PG and then perform full installation WinCC Flex 2008. After reinstalling WinCC Flex 2008 install SQL server of WinCC Explorer. And I hope u have SP2 of WinCC flex 2008 because only SP2 supports Windows 7. fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings I had this same problem couple of days ago. This is what I did to fix it: 1. Uninstalled WinCC flexible 2. Manually uninstalled everything named SQL Server (Control Panel -> Uninstall a Program). I was forced to stop some services manually (Ctrl-Shit-Esc -> Services -> Services...) during that. 3. Again installed WinCC flexible 2008 SP2 by right-clicking on Setup.exe and selecting "Run as administrator". It worked after that. I also installed latest update later. Best regards and good luck!
