RIght click on your DB in the project tree, select COPY, then right click on the program blocks portions and PASTE.  Give it a new name and DB #.  Done.

Can you see the "internal" Struct static when you expand it?

Can you copy any of the tags within the DB and paste into a new DB?

Can you create a new block, create the DB for it, then remove the block and keep the DB?

I do not deal with protected DBs so my suggestions are limited.

So I can't remove protection.

Let's back and up one step and ask the important question.

What are you trying to do that needs a copy of the DB in an unprotected format?

You can cheat and create a fake FB with the same interface, add no logic but drop the block into the first scan logic so it creates the DB.

It's protected DB generated from FB231 in relation with Siwarex module WP231.

Only a few of the tags in the protected DB can be changed, so just add those to a DB and block move them into the protected DB anytime the contents change.

I would try to do calibration, read process value etc. from non siemens HMI.

FB is protected and generate protected instance DB. That DB I can not read from HMI. 

Because of that, I would like to create copy of DB which I can access from HMI and change siwarex parameters.

Finnaly, I think that I must to do that manually.
