Girishjakkam Posts: 33 Rating: (1)	Hi everyone, my name is girish , i have a doubt regarding the changing of parameters in Simoreg drive , i want to know if i can change the storage of PARAMETERS FROM EEPROM TO ROM or other storage device?? Cause when i change parameters from CDP panel the parameters are changing in the DRIVE but when i switch the drive control supply off and restart the changed parameters are going back to default values, i feel like the changed parameters are being temporarily stored and not being permanantly stored in the EEPROM PLEASE suggest me what to do ..

Parameters changes are normally carried out in RAM. You need to Execute RAM->ROM Command to store them permanently. Otherwise they would be lost on power Off. It is much easier if you are using Drive Monitor. When downloading the parameters, you can select RAM or EPROM. When changing parameters online, normally Parameters are changed in RAM. Which SIMOREG Version are you using? In SIMOREG 6RA70 ( DC MASTER ): You can Save Parameters in EPROM by Setting parameter P971 = 1 Here is the Description of P971 : Transfer of parameter values from RAM to EERPROM on switchover from 0 to 1. It takes approximately 15s to process all values. The PMU remains in value mode for this period. In SIMOREG 6RA80 ( SINAMICS DCM ): You can Save Parameters in EPROM by Setting parameter P0977 = 1 Hope this helps Cheers Navnag

I am using 6RA70 6FV82 0 Z version sir i want to change P100 , P102 parameters and the have 4 indices , when changing the values in the drive monitor the pop up block for old and new value comes and when i enter new value it says something like " control access not avalible " , so i am changing the values from the PMU and I have to change the parameters indices indiviually that means i have to enter p100.01,p100.02 ... p100.04 to observe the change in the Drive monitor P100 value. is there any method avalible so that changing in one indice and copy to other indices, and i would also like to know why i am unable to change parameters in the drive menu i have changed P051 to 40

P051 must be 40. P053 must be 1 in both indexes. It is not possible to change all indexes of one parameter simultaneously, you must enter the value in every index.
