You may be able to use a Windows Virtualization software such as VMware or Parallels to run a Siemens supported version of Windows on your Mac. Another alternative would be to set up your hard drive with a Windows Boot Camp Partition; but you would need to ensure that you completely back up your disk and personal filesprior to starting anything as this set up WILL re-format your disk. I have not tried this myself so I would be interested to hear feedback on this forum if someone were to successfully get this working with Siemens. I have successfully tried using other manufacturer's PLC/controller software and establishing online connections to their devices usingParallels software on my Macbook Pro 15"mid-2009 laptop; 2.8 GHz, 8GB Ram, 5400 rpm 500GB hard disk. I hope this helps.
