MP277B data log problem

Annu Posts: 12 Rating: (1)	System :S7 300(313C) & MP277B communicating via MPI. Data logging file path is mmc & .csv file format. Working for last 2 years But recently it will generate only csv file with 1 line data. other data not logging. To resolve the problem we have tried following : 1) Downloaded HMI backup again. 2) OS updated 3) Data logging path changed to USB except MMC.But problem not resolved. 4) MMC card R/W tested with laptop & found Ok. We tried on PC runtime it will generates file with proper data. Please suggest any solution for above problem. Thanks in Advance.

Do you do an OSupdate with "reset to factory settings"? How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels? You find in the following link which memory card you should use. Which external storage media can you use with the SIMATIC panels and which memory card interfaces do they have? Tweety

Annu Posts: 12 Rating: (1)	Hello, I am using Wincc Flexible 2008 sp2 Nothing changed in MP277B before this problem occurs.. OS updated using Prosave but no factory reset setting occurs. But suddenly it stopped working Now it generates file with only startup entry.(Rutime startup and shutdown) I have defined circular logging method. Did you mean that only USB sticks from Siemens will work properly. Please help me Regards.

I am using USB storage device usually available in market. Is it compulsory to use Siemens pendrive. Then how it worked for few months. Thanks Regards Rahul

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello Rockon, Do you use update 13 for WinCC flexible 2008 SP2? Update for WinCC flexible 2008 Service Pack 2 I had problems with logging at MP377. Then I use this update and the problems was disappeared. Tweety
