Read feedrate override

Background: We have some problems with operators who doesnt turn back the feedrate override wheel to 100% or forget to turn the programming key back. Which then means we loose production time and quality. What i want to do is check the feedrate override in a nc program. I can check it in the diagnosis window by looking at $AC_PLC_OVR or DB21.DBB5. But im not able to read it in a nc program, i just get an alarm saying "not available" or something like that. Does anyone has a clue or idea how to solve it? Sinumerik 840D is used.
