Hi Ali Asghar, Take a look at the attached page to see what kind of controllers can be connected to a Wincc Flexible Runtime. You can't hook up anything as the wincc flex needs to know the protocol for communicating to the third party unit. Hi Ali, Your inhouse system should support a protocol that wincc Flex Runtime can understand, otherwise you won't be able to do it directly. As you can see in the previous document, Flex can talk on DH+, DH485, Modicon Modbus RTU. These are the protocols that run on RS485. If your inhouse system can support any one these then you can make it happen. Unfortunately I don't know of any case that Flex has been talking directly to a third party system.
