Hello,

 I have a 1214 PLC connected to a TP700 Comfort HMI (the program is done in TIA Portal V17). One Ethernet port on the PLC is connected to the HMI. The client needs to connect this PLC/HMI to a SCADA system on their side. The HMI has an extra Ethernet port—can I use this port for communication with the SCADA system? What configurations need to be done in TIA Portal for this setup? I have provided a screenshot of the network connections I configured in TIA Portal.

There is an important part of the puzzle missing:
1) Which SCADA?
2) Which communication protocol?
3) Which data is expected from the HMI?

Configuration of the SCADA within TIA Portal may not even be required for the PLC. To the HMI there might need something which emulates a PLC connection, but it does not have to show in the network view.

do you mean the WinCC RT Advanced as SCADA (its not a real SCADA System but anyway...)?

The ethernet ports on the TP700 are only one ethernet card. It s kind of a switch. So you can do your topology as whon in the screenshot as a line topology, this works but you have to use IP addresses in the same subnet.
