Nobody could guess what you mean by telling us "does not work"... ...exept me I guess you have a S7-1200 with FW-Version less than V4.x. The S7-1200 supports Simulation with PLCSim whit a FW-Version 4.0 and higher. Therefore you need at least TIA V13. If I am wrong, tell us more about your system, that "does not work" regards,

I dont work on real PLC.I create the program on TIA PORTAL as S71212 V4.1 and Cyclic Interrupt ( OB30 ). I place PID from TECHNOLOGY into Cyclic Interrupt ( OB30 ). I enter SV and PV intput values by using MDXX memories.Compilling the program and play PLCSIM . PV and SV values appearing on PID simulation but OUTPUT value doesn't respond. When I looked STATE value on the PID , value is ''0'' (Inactive). Regads

Best regards No, because you must start the adjustment ONLINE or select "manual setting of PID Parameters" ONLINE. Yes, it is a little bit crazy and very uncomfortable, but it is NOT a problem of PLCSIM but of S7-1200 PID.

Jav Pinz Posts: 108 Rating: (27)	Hello Omutlu, About PID v4 or higher simulation on S7-1200 is not supported on S7-PLCSIM, if you want to simulate PID control on S7-1200, need to work with a older version. Here are some Topics that you can see if you want to know how to change the version of the PID, and also i'll give you an image where indicates where to change the version.
