The apllicationhas beenbuiltwith WinCC flexible 2007 on my computer. Then I have transferred the project to the "Runtime PC" allover the network and after starting up, the application is working proparly. But now I want to be able to view the HMI status of this application over the internet using the sm@rtservice, so I followed the steps in the "WinCC flexible getting started" manual: - Enabling "Start up sm@rtserver" and "Sm@rtservice: HTML pages"in the device settings of my project (-The RT project itself has been transferred toa "destinationfile" on the HMI PC) - On the "Runtime PC" I have marked the "automatic start after booting" for the sm@rtserver => but when I run Internet explorer om my PC and enter the IP address, Idon't see the homepage of the HMI. I allways receive "Network error". When I have done the same in another project with an MP277, I had no problems at all. Have I forgotten something?

The smartservice license is ordered, but not yet installed. But normally without the license, you only receive every X time an error popup, but it doesn't affect the working. I really think it has something to do with the fact that it's a winCC flexible runtime or that I have forgotten some configuration parameters.

pigroplc Bronze Member Joined: 4/3/2008 Last visit: 1/24/2025 Posts: 388 Rating: (16)	Due to the fact you don't have any licence installed and you don't face any popup windows replying the licence is missing, I suppose there is no any checkbox pointed in the Device settings\runtime services. May be you have been forgotted ? pigroplc

Maene3 Experienced Member Joined: 5/27/2008 Last visit: 9/5/2025 Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	In the device settings -> Runtime services the first two items are marked in the checkbox ("Startup smartserver" and "smartservices: HTML pages") I don't receive the alarm message about the smartservice license, because the system itself has "installed" a trial license for 14 days. After this period, I will receive the message if I haven't installed the license by then. I really think it has something to do with the fact it's a"winCC flexible runtime" device type. Isn't it possible that I have to make some extra settings on the runtime PC?

Also it is not possible to connect from PC is runtime and make loop back. http://<address>:5800 in IE and works fine.
