I can only see **********, but I don't know what they are so I cannot simulate the operations, though I can change them but obviously it's nonsense to make the customer change them back. I am using winCC flexible but the others should be the same.

MM1234 Posts: 270 Rating: (53)	Hello AlecTek, it doesn't seem to be possible to do in the WinCC flexible user settings and neither in runtime. What you should be able to do, though, is to use the function ExportImportUserAdministration. It stores the whole user administration of a PLC into a file OR loads it from there. The data is encrypted, so you can't see the passwords there, but you can simply use the export, then change passwords and try everything you need and then import the original users/passwords back. And in case you are just testing the stuff out in runtime on your PC and don't load anything on the actual PLC, you don't need to worry about it, because if you change password in the runtime simulation, it doesn't save into the project itself (well, I use wincc flexible for few weeks, but I tried it, maybe it depends on some settings/options, if so, someone clarify this, please). Hope this helps to solve your trouble.

AlecTek Posts: 95 Rating: (0)	I just added a new adminstrator and everything seems fine. Iwasn't just simulating it but I have to do some minor changes thats why I don't want to mess those passwords up. Thank you guys!
