wincc fliexible runtime with s7200

Out Control Posts: 204 Rating: (1)	I try to use wincc flixeble runtime 2008 with cpu 224CN, using Pc/PPI Rs232 Cable ...and setting all configuration as in https://a248.e.akamai.net/cache.automation.siemens.com/dnl/DU/DU2MDExAAAA_28263099_FAQ/S7-200_WinCCflexRT_Panels_en.pdf But i still have no communicatin........can any one help me to get error ... mylaptop has win xp sp3

Please , can you give me an example for active a memory bit in PLC from runtime ???my be i have a problem in my software ....... I program Runtime as I program TP177 color Thanks

I program Runtime as I program TP177 color Thanks Dear Nashwa_459, Is your comminication working with USB to RS-232 converter to download & upload program into the CPU? If yes then you should get the data in Runtime also. You can use SM 0.5 bit which is 0.5 Sec On & 0.5 Sec OFF. This bit you can use in HMI for communication check.
