In some projects clients want to connect conventional detectors such as smoke and heat to digital input of  system and i was wondering if you could answer the below question.

1. Is it possible to connect conventional fire detector to digital input modules?

If yes please give me the part number of modules and wiring and also interface module for connecting(if any).

The answer is no.

However, there are some smoke detectors in the market with voltage free contact.

Only detectors with free contacts can be connected to PLC digital inputs.
