Runtime is not starting

I have a issue with the Runtime, Until couple days ago i was able to simulate the screens in the project that I was working, (only screens until now), but suddenly when I tried to simulate again the screens only shows me "Runtime not active Automatic reconnect in 30 second(s)". After that i checked the runtime manager, the project is stopped, I clicked the start, a box with message appears "Runtime is starting. Wait until the current process is finished" and the red icon changed to yellow, but when the box disappears the icon turns red again.. Attachment Captura3.PNG (157 Downloads)

ElonksuM_SN_BN Regular Expert Joined: 5/6/2022 Last visit: 7/10/2025 Posts: 589 Rating: (123)	Hi SaverH, In this case, it would be helpful if you could comment on the following information: 1- If you load another basic project and try to simulate it does the same thing happen to you? 2- What software are you using exactly (version, etc)? 3- Are you working with a virtual machine? 4- Windows version screenshot. Windows + R, type "winver" in the box, open and then select OK. 5- Please check again in which status a project is in Runtime Manager after trying to start it. If the project is "Partly Running", please check the following: Does the user currently logged in Runtime have sufficient rights? Is the user registered in the following Windows user groups: - PlcSimUsers - RTIL Tracing Users - Siemens TIA Engineer - SIMATIC HMI - SIMATIC HMI VIEWER 6- Is the device name no longer than 15 characters? Is "OPC UA" enabled in the Runtime configuration and is a certificate available? Best regards!
